Washing my heart far, far away from my shell

I have prayed many nights for a love like this
Dug my hands and knees into the ground and watered the earth with salty tears

Like a lullaby your voice dance through my ears, and around my mind
Protecting it from my fears of being alone
Piercing the darkness like an arrow, as if it were striking the heart of a living creature
Leaving me to free fall back into reality
In my world of fantasy I see the ground shake as we pave new ways
If mountains were able to be moved, moved they shall be
No river would be imparted, no star untouched
I wait for the day to come when our stars align so we can dance across the night skies like the aurora borrealis
To lay with you and watch the moon and sun rise and set repeatedly, admiring themselves over open waters
Walk hand and hand over the ancient lands our ancestors once walked
Reciting stories to our own as they grow and become something amazing
I see with my own two eyes something great
Kiss the lips of a dream with human features and a soul that is so beautifully matched
I will sacrifice it all just to walk this life with you
Turn away from temptation, doubt, fear, and pride just so I can create stability where ever home is officially made
If I love you could be defined in a ways other then simple terms I would be the first to define it
Shower you with a form of love that would shake the ground beneath us
And cause the night skiy to look like day
