Trying to find grace
Between these
Pages I turn
Constantly reminding
Me to obey authority
So I do not resist
Nor clutch my fist
Between these
Pages I turn
Lost hoping to be found
In time to change
These evil ways
Of mine
Thinking of those
Old good ole days
Where love lived
Took care and fed
Her whole damn family
Who ungratefulness
literally put her
In her grave
The thought sux
To think that away
So many wounds
In need of healing
