when a like has ended it seems so sad
when a child is born everyone is glad
to see a spirit return from the dead
a child has an old soul people marvel
at the marvelous wit of the young
who came back holding the sun
without getting burned
we have a long way to go
and we have a lot to learn
though we are getting older
we come to relies somehow
we must return to stop turning
like hands on a clock
people no longer wear a watch
because smart phones know
how to tell time
they also know where we are
at all times location on or off
missing in these times are
only a state of mind
still the logic in that is hard to find
like found missing... is an oxymoron
