Society has one hand on his soul and a foot locked down on his esophagus
Government has the other hand over his mouth to assure his silence
Or is it to assert its dominance?
Regurgitated statements pervert certain promises
Desecrate erected statutes just to get acknowledgement
Then they point to a a few channels and a couple handful of colleges
Allowed a small piece of the pie so they wouldnt be bothered with
Attach stereotypes to justify the impoverishment
Chastise and criticize our intolerance
Then turn around and exploit our culture when its time to bring the dollars in
