Got my eye on you like a Cyclops

Undivided attention, but might need some eye drops 

Can’t blink cuz you think like a sly fox

Met my match, giving you mad props

Got me tripping like some wet mops 

Hugging soles like a pair of high tops 

I got no depth perception like a Cyclops

I’m a monster always misunderstood

Down for the cause some say I’m up to no good

We different but the same whenever y’all wink

One’s outlook ain’t always as bad you think

Labels mislead and feed discrimination 

Even if we were the same there’d still be playa hatin’

Religion and prison two man-made institutions 

Cause more hate and problems than love and solutions 

Freedom and enlightenment can’t be given and taken

It’s all a matter of perspective, blessed or forsaken

Pairs of limbs, eyes, and ears, but only one heart

Was it for a purpose or just symmetry and art?

Balance is an equation, logic undefined

Right and wrong ain’t a circle, rather ends of a line

Us against them, pick a side, hope to win

It started with a bang, but will all end quite dim
