there's a women up the way
she passes by and cries a lot
I don't know why but I think
she's the saddest women I ever seen
she lives in a house alone
never seen a sign of company
she's been there longer than me
I was told some things about her
things I don't care to believe
I tell the neighbors to stop
gossiping to me about her dis...ease
this world is full of so many
wounded people who get no aid
no assistance not even a band aid
wouldn't it be better to see what you
can do to help 'em instead of sitting
around talking about 'em
