yet lag astronomical
traveling coast to coast
backseat drivers a ghost
get high to feel the flow
feet grounded to floor
can't feel my toes or is it cold
on one like stuck on one
trying to get to number nine
revealing ten back to one
again waking up on earth again
evermore never end
hard to keep darkness
in the box every time
I see my shadow we box
win some lose some
soulmate to cellmate
is it love if I salivate
trying to control the drool
like trying hold loose stool
what's that smell not hard to tell
distinctive loud scent
half can never be whole
old can never be young again
gone will be back again
more will be lacking
less will be better than great
a house divided against its self
I cannot stand to see
hate among family
hard to spit Joy, peace, happiness
when it's so much mess in the nest
