it's a long walk going nowhere
why fuss over having nothing to wear
they'll tell you its over there you'll
find nothing when you get there
floor swept clean cupboards bear
not a soul in sight when you
cut on the lights you're the only one
there struggling to settle in off the grid
living off the land one side of the road
paved in dirt the other side made of sand
every day is the day "The Lord has made"
regardless what man has made of days
