there are many turns to life

every curve reminds me

"there will be more turns to take"

I made a "U" to get back to you

when I got there you were gone

I was riding the highway alone

feeling like I was going to cry

without a pssanger by my side

on this journey to the other side

I kept on going fast until

running out of gasoline

walking miles to a station

holding a can in my hand

to get back on the road again

soon my destination will be

coming up hope I don't miss

the off ramp hope I don't

have to back up or turn again

knowing where I'm going

is just around the bend
