What was the price of peace?

Though I'd like to eat,

I can't if it means soon some tyke'll be

Starving on the island next to me.

How 'bout you take a quick break from all the texting, G-

Have a look around and expect to see,

The Recipe, for testing three-

Hundred million heads a week.

Ever wonder will them children

Plunder from a building

Or wander in the wilderness

And run into the real them?

They will render flows from some trill tender rose-

Still bender knows that his pill sends her woes.

Ills end or owes begin shall we say,

Rules of the universe influence how we played,

Games on the clocks tick tock'd all day.

What then was the price of peace?

Though I'd like to eat,

I can't if it means some tyke'll breathe

Poisonous fumes or a bite from beasts

Noise in this room what they like to see-

Because the silence is golden.

Hold 'em in Texas as Wild Wild West kids,

Pistol in their belts and a mile-high press kit.

Distressed wits, wet pits.

Weary of marathon running.

Past fathers of the foreground

Never meant for your sound

To be bothered with so,

Don't ever turn the chords down.
