when I'm low in spirit
something whispers to me
"get on your feet"

the day has just begun for me

when I'm low in spirit
something whispers to me
"get on your feet"

the day is not yet done for me

when I'm feeling down I need
some sun but the sun don't
always shine sometimes it's
rainy skies cloudy winds blowing
even sometimes it's snowing

when I hear "get on your feet"
I'm in good company it's suitable
it works for me to be standing

in awareness where inner voices
softly lisp strongly felt tenderness
for me "I get on my feet"
