when we broke up it broke my heart to break up with you regretting the day and time we met I shielded you from the rain didn't want you to get wet you forgot to bring your umbrella chivalry was still alive so I covered you I truly believe that was the day I fell in love for the first time gave you my heart asked you to be mine before Valentine's day came we would't've met if it wasn't for the rain had to go and buy the ring to stake my claim romance was in the air felt like I could breathe again as if I wasn't breathing then time wore thin walls we're closing in you were ejected from from my life I was back to being alone again head down in a phone again hoping to get a text from you saying it's on again *heart emoji* so I can smile again no I'm not crying it's just the pen leaking I tend to write when I'm thinking not thinking what I'm writing telling the story like a sad movie can't sit til the end gotta keep on moving around tossing turning trying to get comfortable with what I know without the past how can I grow through the pain "note to self" what if I left her standing in the rain what if I forgot to bring my umbrella too what if I was looking down instead of up at you

Ah, the mystery of falling rain remains. When it falls, we never know what it will pour out into our life. ONE. Peace and Love.
