I was once one of the
greatest drifters of them all
felt like I was born to
wander off
felt like I had to get lost
up and disappear
up and out of here
vanish into thin air
something out there
kept pulling me closer
to somewhere
there's old rickety stairs
too rugged to climb
had to take the time
being careful is wise
like every mother's child
only here for awhile
a stopwatch don't stop time
