It's the BLACK in me that sets me free,
Like standing on top The highest heights
Feet at the edge ,
toes bending the ledge,
With unbending spirit to fold,
Being sold a truth from the tongues of those,
Of a dying soul
Even though my eyes Fight their visualized Lies,
I know what I was told,
Like trying to figure out
The difference between Love and Loyalty

I have been lashed , With rolling eyes,
Foul tongues, Judging me
And still I follow my heart

Redefined
Wolves in sheep clothing
Like a naked sheep In the meadow
Demanding peace Intellectually
Craving to be seen blindly
Yet asking for nothing,
And gaining something
Anointed minds protect their peace
The BLACK in me
Has found it's peace
