Every lesson learned comes with what I earned

Knowledge builds wisdom but sometimes bridges still get burned

Water under that same bridge wishing you nothing but the best

Time is just a test letting it go laying it all to rest

Choosing my battles includes understanding I may lose

Putting self first walking away without a scar nor bruise

But even if the heart breaks its still beautiful in my eyes

Hurting precedes healing in this drama trauma filled life

Even when the pain runs deep please finish the race

It takes practice to become the person winning first place

Last is not least as long as you leave with a trophy or token

Some of the loudest words are left unwritten and unspoken

Actions speak louder than words so no saying I love u its showing
