Easier said than done is a cliché I hear so often
The words are etched in my brain
Because it is so true
I find myself easily giving advice to someone going through a difficult time
Its second nature to me
But when I look at my life and going through the same situation
I can’t seem to find any answers
Or any clichéd saying that will make life so simple
Because it is truly easier said than done
I tend to be great inspiration to everyone else except to the one that matters the most
Myself
Not speaking from a selfish state
But how can I care for someone else if I am not together myself
What good am I if I am broken down inside
No one to speak life into me
Into my notebooks I confide
Writing my dreams as if they will magically come to life
When in reality they are just a line on a page until I put fourth action
It’s truly easier said than done
I can go on and on about how I want this and that but when it’s time to put in work
I can’t find the first step to take
When it’s someone else I can give them a step by step route to take
This just doesn’t make any sense to me
I guess it’s just easier said than done
