A Crack in These Shackles

I try to abide by these rules Put into place to BLIND me Shackeled by the feet I Crumble with EVERY step taken You see.... there's these unforeseeable obstructions that has become my blanket However there's no comfort to ease my pains I CRUMBLE Rules become constant reminders of my lack of knowledge, Knowledge... The ones they forgot to TEACH me in the classroom but I'm picking up in the streets Knowledge... The ones in which I must dive into in order to get even an ounce of SATISFACTION Instead I'm feeding off the principles in which I was taught to obey- no questions asked These streets ain't easy These rules keep breaking And my mind My mind My minds on repeat Waiting for the OPPORTUNITES I must take Instead of taking them Looking at the doors wondering HOW I'm going to get through them The misconception is real! These shackles need to come off Or else I'll remain blind with no comfort Torn with no release

These "spoken words" were hella dope. The way you pieced it all together was nice. Hella truth in this statement; "The ones they forgot to TEACH me in the classroom but I'm picking up in the streets Knowledge..."
