I never understood the reason why you did what you did
Never could wrap my mind around why you started a new family and left when I was a kidThen one day, you said one statement that said it allYou said, "Your family will always be there but your woman wont."At that moment he answered 21 years of questions, 21 years of wanting to knowWanting to know why you was not, we was not in the same house holdFunny thing is, I had mixed emotions to his wordsOn one side, I was finally happy to get an answer but on the other....... those words pierced my heart like a swordBut I gained more respect for him for being a manBeing able to look over his pride and talk heart to heart with one of his number one fansMonths later, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and trust me there's not a fiveWhy is it that you finally find out the truth before a man dies?
