I think it will be some time before we understand the true history and impact of rap. It seems like they want to model it around violence but in it there is something much more evolved.
These benefits have been hidden and distorted. The banner of violence was passed to us in the hearts and minds of the world. But are the recipients of the true originators of violence.
Im lashing out because rap was supposed to do what it is doing now and thats cashing out and creating jobs for those taht could find none.
We were lifted and inspired. With this new knowledge, I am evolved and transformed. Rap has inspired me and been a part of me for some time now. I cried and cursed the lyrics just as I embraced and recited them.
I am better because of it. Long live our true heritage of history.
