Am I insane,
for thinking
when I spit barz
that my discharge
can somehow change
a static brain
whose reasoning lacks fluidity –
frozen in yester’s stupidity
when futures are dynamic
and discontent festers
en masse across this planet?
Like emcees of light before me,
I cram to understand this
version of his-story.
Cry foul, shout in pain,
but he ignores me just the same
making it plain that he abhors me
and my exercised Afrikan brain
‘til all hell breaks out.
And shots ring out.
And black blocks burn
And beat cops turn
from white, ‘hood enemies
to occupying armies –
black-booted enemies
‘cause I protest
when they harm me!
As if I’m supposed
to take it good natured
like 50 shades of naked,
dumb b!tches finding
pleasure in abuses.
You must be stupid
as you seem to think I am!
Long as I breathe
this strong diaphragm

Load up high caliber
thoughts, take aim
and spit my truth

like vampires.
