One night I scored some coke and I broke down in the hood
I was approached by fiends and a guy that was up to no good
He said “Welcome to the jungle” with a slick smile on his face
His eyes were real wild, I didn’t know if I’d get out of this place
He walked away and joined the others, then grouped in a huddle
Glancing over at me, I knew that they were plotting some trouble
The night was dark and the demons were out and wanted to play
I called AAA who informed me they were about an hour away
I didn’t know what to do so I locked the doors and started to pray
I know I did wrong and deserved it but still I prayed anyway
Suddenly my clutch started to work so I got the hell out of there
I sped all the way to my apartment without a moment to spare
As soon as I pulled up to my home my clutch began to go out
I know something heard my prayers, of this I have no doubt
