Can you imagine a world where it was illegal to read? So how valuable must paper have been to a poet. A form of expression and longing for something that extends beyond the four corners of paper. What great books have been sealed inside the soul of a slave?
Paper, a simple thing but made very complicated and that is a mild word for deadly. How can you change the world by simply expressing yourself. I think we did it in other ways but that longing was still there.
