sometimes Heaven gets a call and the caller is me and I want to talk to someone I believe is there but I am told "there's no one here by that name" I hang up disappointed think for awhile then dial the other place thinking to myself there must be some kind of mistake the phone rings and rings and rings then the voicemail picks up at the tone I don't know what to say I know I don't want to leave my number I don't want the devil to call me back I drop the call then pause and decide to call Heaven back it rings one time then a dude name Peter answers the phone and says "didn't you call before" I said yeah! PEE-ter!” I need to know and before I could get all the words out Peter said "didn't I tell you there's no one here by that name at that point "PeeT" was getting on my last nerve I was perturb he didn't understand how things are done in the real world so I asked to speak to a manager a supervisor someone in charge “P’Tuh!” got offended like I was implying he wasn't doing his job then put me on hold I was expecting Opus Number One Stairway To Heaven Heaven Is A Place On Earth Knokin' On Heaven's Door to fill the silence but to my surprise Heaven was jammin' Highway To Hell

The SituationIt's out for delivery you can't track it nothing to indicate how many stops away you have stuff to do but you have to stay no matter how long it takes you have to wait it's nearing the end of the day you get a email it's been delayed not sure if it'll be today but it's still on the way you spent the whole day expecting it to arrive suddenly you're in a mood and no one knows why anger doesn't come with a disclaimer it arrives without warning escalation of unexpressed emotions in other words an explosion like playing with a gun with the safety off but really it's no one's fault |

double up the flow never fall off track snap on the snare when I paint these facts 808 pulse make the whole world crack mindset make moves like a chest piece chasing the first thought never second guess me built the sound proof now I manifest peace heartbeat knock on the wall of my chest it talks yeah it speaks it doesn't text every piece hits like a coded message I keep thinking the beat gone change but the thumps stay the same no pressure no stress got a wave to catch quick witted like a standup comedian handle hecklers like opps in the audience only break bread with those at the table passing the potatoes never lend never borrow is my moto collecting bricks like I'm building sh** stacking up virtual accomplishments in no rush to meet the goal watching prophecy unfold |
