I love my own uniqueness

That separates me from my surroundings

It is not understood why I am not like them

Why should I be I’m unique

I have my own style

The only way to explain this

Is like I speak a different language

I can’t hear you I stand on a different level

My own platform fashioned for me

What they don’t see I envision being

What they hear I don’t listen to

What they are doing I do not do

Where they go I’ve been before

What they say I do not care to hear about

I’m too busy being about something

I’ve seen to many lives amount to nothing

Like reaching and never touching
