All I got is a pen in a good left hand
Things haven’t gone as I planned
The key to my success is the pen
That I hold in my hand
Many would not understand
Those who do clap your hands
Finger poppin
Hip hoppin
No stoppin
Clean up on isle 3
I’m shoppin
Biscuits and gravy
I’m soppin
Through a straw
I’m sippin
No need for that
Stop trippin
Call me the president in the hood
My residence
Striving for betterment
We need better government
Like halitosis needs peppermint
Back to the environment
In the heart of so much
Violence
Loud noise and sirens
Too many moment of silence
Just me and my pen gettin it in
The community needs more unity
We need a state of immunity
Time spent every dime
Fighting the cause
