The World I Imagine

The world I imagine
Better things would happen
A smile on everyone’s face
Not mention of race
Nothing out of place
Everyone moving along
No countries at war
No suffering anymore
History restarted over
No people would starve
People having homes to rest their heads
Warm beds and food on their plates
The choices we make
Will take us all far
A unit together
Getter through whatever
On same page with same mindset
No one upset
Disrespect
Or neglected
Our children still our future
Nurture them together
Education is better
Ensuring their futures
I imagine a world
Of colors, music
Expressing it everyday
Not ashamed
Filling the streets with laughter
Music playing
Everyone cheering
Dancing the night away
Terrible things wouldn’t happen
Where children can play the day away
And be safe from danger
Where poverty is at
Won’t be neglected
And we working to make it better
Where responsibility is the key
And we all own up to our fault
Change our ways for more days
Lessons learnt right away
Where women and men are respected
Where both respect themselves
And love can be true
No one tries to hold you back
Pushing each other to greater heights
Where everyone has an open mind
And dream of greater things
No one will remain the same
In the same place the rest of their lives
No, their minds are right
And people want more in life
Where the 7 deadly sins never persist
They don’t exist so you don’t have to resist
The world I imagine
We all live in
Hand and hand
Enjoying our fellow man
Not hurting each other
Not bringing sorrow
Living for a better tomorrow
Where we all live the dream
Where we all can be what we want to be
There are no limits
For everyone money not a problem
Things are free like the right to be
A creator of your own tomorrow
Seeking better opportunities
College or even becoming an artist
Wouldn’t break your pockets
Because we all pay the same low price
Equal rights
Equal pay
Don’t work all day
Only to get paid less
We’re not stress
Paid handsome checks
All getting the same
Where jobs won’t reject
When no or high experience is accepted
Where you are given a chance
To prove you can be of help
Where anyone can own a business
With little expenses
And little experience
Earn a living
Even people helping to create them
Receiving to tools to make them better
And race never matters
A world I imagine
We would all be just human
And no one would be excluded
Our right to be who we want
Where things get done
To express our love for anyone we want
Having families or what not
Where everyone’s the same
Just express in different ways
Our business is our own
A people leave you alone
People interact
Not just through text
And many different places to go
When you have nothing to do
Maybe shoot pool or go to the zoo
Creating someplace fun even where kids can go
And not places to take all your dough
A place we create where everyone can have
And all corruption is never thought of
Where evil people don’t exist
And everyone gets a chance to live
And care for others
Where our elderly are cared for
Medicine available for even the poor
Cures on the shelves
Not just preservation of self but of all
No one has to suffer from illness at all or alone
No pollution, no destruction
Only the beautiful Earth we live on
Clearer skies
Vibrant life Mother Earth has provided
The world I imagine
Would show so much promise
If only people would get over themselves
We weren’t meant for this
We are meant for greatness
Everyone included
It can get better
We have to work together
Because things are getter worst everyday
And if we don’t want that to stay
We as humans have to change our ways
I know it’s far-fetched
But I believe that we can get there
Maybe not now
But someday the world will change
And we’ll have brighter days
