Years has passed, many moons has gone by
Kinda makes one feel as if time can truly fly
Not in a straight line, But around and around, nobody knows
When it'll stop spinning, but being stuck in a pose
Stranded by self-indulgence, I became my worst enemy
Regressing back into a depressive state, mentally saying: "I offended me!"
Looking for an answer in every nook and cranny
Crying in frustration, "This world doesn't understand me!"
However I matured as I Began to surmise
That I should always keep my eyes on the prize
To fulfill my goals, in spite of my woes
Pressing towards the mark that's keeping me on my toes
Soon it'll be my turn to Glow
Like a 1000 watt light bulb as a I continue to grow
No longer will I mope like a child who's dropped an ice cream cone
Hell, I'm willing to stand alone, and be ON MY OWN!!!!!
