Up, Up and away, is what is sought
Down under, is where we all end up
Hoping to lend a hand , to understand
Being one rung up, enough to change plans
Views are breathtaking, the higher up you see
Nobody ever appreciates views unless set free
Captors of thought, multiple ingrown varieties
Heightens the fall off the ladder most assuredly
So seasons of reasons do have a place awakening
Sometime to err, is only a miss-staked identity
Going from high to low , is definitive upon arrival
Survival matters to neither, as both are held liable
So perched quite casually, consuming such comfort
Always try to remember the sight n sounds behind us
So at the least the very next step I take, I do soundly
What is on top, is one step from being below……
I keep climbing upwards , trying to stay with what I know
Darkness eventually removes the past, hoping now is the last
Unfortunately steps completed, will always be temporarily fulfilling
As further up or further down are sure to perpetually change feelings!
