I Pray
For those caught up in politics
It's pretty obvious that they don't get it
They've yet to recognize there's only one King of Kings
And soon again His presence will be seen
I pray for such a hostile world
Who has not taken time to comprehend His words
A world that's angry and not easy to forgive
Harden hearts that kills and steals
I pray for the peace of the promised land
Where the love of God can be seen in every man
A world that has no place for sin
A world where we can all be civil again
I pray that this world will regain hope
And love for the Father Son and Holy Spirit will grow
I pray for a world that will show the love of God
And let go of that which harden the heart
And that there are no misconceptions that God is real
That God can be seen in the way people act and feel
I pray for a world of genuine peace
And the continuous love of God we'll seek
A world that can meet at the cross
Thus bring to an end all the chaos
And to understand Jesus
sufferings
As giving the world such an unworthy blessing
I pray for a world!
