If I open my soul
And poured it all out
Laid it on a platter for all to see
Would anyone understand the depths of me
If peeled back the layers
Exposed my Truths
Would anyone know what to do
If I unveiled my heart
Displayed all the pieces
That have been torn apart
Would anyone care
To help me mend it back together
If from the start
I showed you all my broken parts
Would anyone take the time to help
Reconstruct
What once was
Our would they look at all the pieces
Scattered about
And only see the pieces of me they want to see.
