I told myself that I needed you
I convinced myself it was true
even though I knew where
you dwelled there were some
missing nails and some loose screws
I overlooked the danger and continued
to stay with you until one day after
a long outstanding feud
the house started to fall apart
along with my beating heart
Feeling the brunt then suddenly
I heard the most horrific sound
that's when the ceiling came
crashing down
