Today is the day we become one
One heart, one soul, one mind
We'll celebrate as husband and wife
Until the end of time.
From the day we first held hands
I knew my life wouldn't be the same
Now as we soulfully unite
We ignite the eternal flame.
The one that burns for our love
Each and every time we embrace
The one that burns ever brighter
Despite the trials we may face.
I stand with you unconditionally
To protect you and be by your side
Today is the day I marry my friend
In my heart is where you reside.
And with this moment we share
As we are blessed by God above
We are forever one another's
Lifetime of everlasting love.
