In my life, i had to ask myself
what my goals are before i get put on a shelf
what's driving me forward as i leave behind a legacy
for all to recognize greatness that God has left me
First, i aspire to serve God with all my might
by trusting in Him, Keeping His promises in my sight
To exercise my faith in obedience, to be grounded in integrity
knowing that He will never leave nor forsake me, But will always protect me
Second, i aspire to love my family, to stand in the gap
and offer my support, and place His name on the map
all of us standing as one, to give the next generation hope
To Give God the praise, putting Satan against the rope
as i finish my recital, please listen close
this is really not about me, as i'm at a repose
But of my profession of selflessness, a formal invitation
To be God's man, that's my aspiration
