I was too damn good for you
 

Thinking you were too good for me
 

Believing you made me look good
 

When it was the other way around
 

I just couldn’t see through the crowd
 

Clouding my mind every time
 

I play back the rewind it just reminds me
 

How blind I was to see no evil
 

Believing that we were compatible
 

Equal and would reunite like a sequel
 

To many times you cut me
 

Too deep and too wide
 

I’m leaking from both sides
 

I don’t want to look too deep
 

So I close my eyes
 

Pain subsides and peace abides
 

Moving swiftly to change
