Oh The Sacrifice

Unspoken wisdom speaks

Oh the sacrifice of being an outspoken Negro, can often be viewed as not worth the effort because he is often thought of as being radical, crazy in vision, or simply an Imbecile because his vision is but a fog in the distance for most of his peers, which often in time becomes awe stunningly obvious

Oh the sacrifice of being an outspoken Negro can often be viewed as not worth the effort because she is seen as the ungrateful Negro, who is going to make trouble for the entire village community and of course when her efforts provide a positive outcome, she is seldom if ever given the proper credit for this turn of events because we have a tendency to believe that society was ready to relinquish it to us anyway, no matter the depth of fallacy found in that belief

Oh the sacrifice of being an outspoken Negro can often be viewed as not worth the effort because he is viewed with skepticism and curiosity by his own people the Negro Community because they find comfort in hiding within the shadows of his efforts because when it comes times to receive the rewards thereof they will push him aside and step directly in front of him with opened hands of greed and a skinning and grinning bowing and scraping smile upon their faces

Oh the sacrifice of being an outspoken Negro can often be viewed as not worth the effort because her concerns for her community is often simply seen as rhetoric and no real value is given to her perspective on the situation even given the fact most times her valiant efforts result in a reckoning that is awarded to silent, unworthy and cowardly recipients

Oh the sacrifice of being an outspoken Negro can often be viewed as not worth the effort because???

Bringing it to the light Sir well spoken I would say they have a way of silencing an outspoken Negro the reason we dont see national Black leaders today if you got the people ears they got you in the cross hairs would be leaders know this so are silent

Very astute observations. ON POINT. Truth is... the price must be paid in suffering ...for lessons written in blood. the machine gun of ideas necessary to awaken people from the great 400 year sleep will cost us more... to achieve critical mass ..and get us, as Parliament Funkadelic puts it, freedom from the need to be free

Thanks Charles 2, I appreciate your inspiring words. Peace
