In my time of loss
God heard my cry,
So He summoned His angels
To be by my side.
Bringing comfort to ease my pain
And lend a helping hand
As my husband transitioned
To His precious holy land.
Through hugs and tears
He knew just whom to send,
To cushion the blow
So my heart could mend.
And it’s with this knowledge
To those who answered the call
I am forever grateful
And I thank you one and all.
