Jesus Is

CATEGORY

The healer of my heart
The keeper of my soul
The leader of my steps
When nights grow cold.
He said in John 14:1
“Let not your heart be troubled,
Ye believe in God, believe also in me.”
The redeemer of my strength
The restorer of my faith
He reminds us of who He is
When we fall short of His grace.
He said in Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
He comes from the Father of one and all
Every mother, father, brother and sister
He is the sound of all words
Spoken and whispered.
Jesus said in Romans 14:11
“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”
He hears my cries
He answers my prayers
Unconditionally loved
He is always there.
He said in Hebrews 13:5
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
When things go awry and
The world has turned against me
He sends his angels
Without haste to protect me.
As it was written in Psalm 23:5
“Thou preparest a table before me
In the presence of mine enemies.”
His mercy endures forever
I speak of Him without shame
Showered with His blessings
I praise His holy name.
And as it is written in Psalm 34:1
“I will bless the LORD at all times
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
