"Word Play"
We play this word play...
We play this game but it is
not a game to win scores
it is a game that involves
so much more.
We play the word play...
As poets we engage in this exchanges
of thoughts, expression, and emotions
that we want so badly to mention.
We play this word play...
writing about our simple pleasures
and also our erotic treasures.
How much more can we convey until
we get carried away. I have plenty of
words left to say whether it's morning
or the end of the day.
We play this word play...
All who hear me, please reply because
we are poets screaming loud, blaring out
our pain, our loves, and sometimes the
difficult restraints of life.
We play this word play...
when we are on the computer or writing on a pad,
we are sharing our feelings either to ourselves
or to our woman or man.
My fellow, poets hear me once again.
Because the beauty of our lives revolves
around a piece of paper, our emotions and
a pen to release what we feel inside,
because it makes us feel alive.
